Atera Fit was established in 2023 within Apera Health Group, drawing on more than 12 years of international healthcare and bariatric surgery experience. The brand was created to support changing nutritional needs following bariatric surgery, make daily nutrition more manageable and contribute to sustainable, long-term healthy habits.

Following bariatric surgery, reduced food intake and changes in the digestive system may affect protein, vitamin, mineral and other essential nutrient requirements. Standard products developed for general use or sports nutrition may not always reflect the specific needs of bariatric patients. Atera Fit products have therefore been formulated with input from experienced physicians and dietitians to complement the post-bariatric nutrition process.

Apera Health Group’s patient support does not end with surgery. Bariatric patients receive professional dietitian follow-up for one year after discharge. Weight-loss progress, blood-test results, dietary intake and adaptation to a new lifestyle are evaluated regularly, while nutrition plans are updated according to individual needs and clinical findings.
